Wanting to get up to speed with Ableton Live and take your music production to the next level? Ableton Certified Trainer Timo Preece will be teaching an extensive online Ableton Live course this fall at Foothill College.
This course covers basic principles of Ableton Live 9 and will teach students how to compose, record, remix, improvise, produce and edit music. Topics include an introduction to Ableton Live’s interface, editing audio, using plug-ins, MIDI sequencing and realtime mixing techniques. Compile live sets from audio clips, loops, samples and create songs in a variety of styles for both studio production and live performance. Students will receive comprehensive training on Live 9’s various modes, components, parameters, and capabilities, as well as, how this can be used in conjunction with other professional audio applications and additional third party tools.
